Jonathan specializes in Latin, Ancient Greek, and writing. He enjoys working with high school and college students. Jonathan has published articles in leading academic journals on the topic of ancient rhetoric. When he isn't reading Virgil, he enjoys tinkering with his Arduino kit and riding his bike on the Delaware and Raritan canal.
Professional Development Workshops for Latin Teachers
Grey Fox offers several different free online professional development workshops for Latin teachers, including Conversational Latin, Latin Reading Group, and Technology and Latin.
The weekly schedule is:
Sundays 9-10 AM Eastern: Conversational Latin Workshop.
Tuesdays 8-9 PM Eastern: Conversational Latin Workshop.
Saturdays 10-11 AM Eastern: Conversational Latin Workshop.
These classes are open to all current, former, or prospective Latin teachers, and they are held online through Skype. Teachers can start at any time. To register for any of our Workshops, please Contact Us.
The Professional Development Semester starts September 5, 2017 and runs until January 27, 2018. The next semester will start in February 2018. There will be no classes November 21 - 26, 2017 or December 19 - January 6, 2018.
Our Online Workshops are a natural extension of the mission of Grey Fox:
- To promote the study of Latin and Ancient Greek,
- To provide students with access to online and in-person instruction in these languages,
- To promote Latin as a living, spoken language, and
- To provide free quality educational materials and training to teachers of the Latin and Ancient Greek languages.
